Organize Inventively
Welcome to the beginning of a knowledge base of the best ideas and tips I can find, on organizing the many facets of life. I knew I wanted to start a new blog and thought and thought about what could keep on being interesting, and came up with organizing. With countless angles to explore, and all the new and fun gadgets and methods, I could not resist blogging about how to organize one’s home, office, or life in general. You’ll be able to find articles, quotes, how-to lists, resources, products, videos, and more to inspire, enlighten, and make life easier!
It’s amazing how good it feels to double your free space in a precious working area or closet. It is also great to purge unused items, papers, clothes, often freeing up more than just space. The zen of being organized is subtle, yet continually effective. When people are highly stressed in their life, I say gain your control back, step by step, with small tasks to set your life in order. Even if is just straightening your sock drawer, you may find therapy in the process along with satisfaction with the result and knowing it is one less thing to do.
Three Rules of Work: Out of clutter find simplicity; From discord find harmony; In the middle of difficulty lies opportunity. ~ Albert Einstein
This blog covers ways to organize from all financial angles as well. There is no need to postpone tasks just because you can’t afford great looking boxes, filing cabinets, fancy hooks, etc. to house your stuff. Make do with cardboard boxes and bags until you can spring for nicer containers for files and items, and grow your systems as your budget allows. Be resourceful and jump in. Start with a big plan and all the accessories or begin with baby steps. Doesn’t matter how you start, Just Start!
“You will never be completely ready. Start from wherever you are.” ~ C.J. Hayden, MCC
